🧩 Project Overview
A 78-day mission to design and deliver comprehensive documentation (in French) for a suite of SaaS applications developed for government use—focused on data preparation, mining, and analysis in secure environments.
Scope & Strategy
As Senior Technical Writer & Consultant, I was tasked with building the entire documentation corpus from scratch. With no existing materials, I defined the structure and authored multiple deliverables: product communication briefs, an installation manual, a user guide, and substantial portions of the administration manual.
To support usability, I designed a complete workflow tutorial and a set of low-code processes, ensuring clarity and accessibility for technical and non-technical users alike. I also produced detailed architectural and conceptual diagrams to illustrate system behavior and user interactions.
Technical Execution
-
Proposed and implemented Docusaurus v2 to rapidly build a professional, customizable documentation site aligned with the client’s graphic charter.
-
Enabled search functionality, structured navigation, and future API documentation integration.
-
Authored 86 Markdown files, created 22 schematics, produced 642 screenshots and illustrations, and coded 37 low-code processes.
-
Customized sidebar logic, CSS styling, and structural components to support scalability and maintainability.
-
Delivered a standalone HTML/CSS version of the installation manual for offline use.
Outcome
The final result exceeded client expectations: a polished, searchable documentation portal that consolidates product communication, installation, administration, tutorials, and API onboarding –all built with autonomy, precision, and speed.
👩💻 My Role
As Senior Technical Writer & Consultant, I architected the entire documentation ecosystem for a suite of complex data intelligence applications—starting from zero.
I defined the documentation structure, authored technical content in Markdown, created diagrams and illustrations, designed tutorial workflows, and delivered both a web portal and a standalone HTML installation manual.
I chose the docs-as-code approach and implemented Docusaurus v2 to ensure rapid delivery, long-term scalability, and seamless integration with developer workflows.
The final result exceeded client expectations, combining precision, usability, and technical depth across multiple deliverables.
🛰️ Technologies & Tools
